Who are we?

The Northeast Veterinary Technician Educators Association (NEVTEA) is an informal group of veterinary technician educators from the northeastern part of the United States. Members are engaged in the education of veterinary technology students in a wide variety of venues including veterinary private practices that serve as clinical externship sites, in traditional on-campus laboratories and lectures, and via distance education using the Internet and teleconferencing technology.

Our members come from many different types of veterinary technology programs in 10 different states ranging from Virginia to Maine. Associate members of NEVTEA include organizations and individuals indirectly associated with veterinary technician education, such as businesses and corporations that publish textbooks, or manufacture pet food and pharmaceuticals that veterinary technicians rely on to provide excellent care to their patients.
